Reagent kit is destined for quantitation of G class antibodies to rubella virus in human blood serum for laboratory confirmation of postnatal, congenital rubella diagnosis, detection of inapparent infection form, for practically healthy people immune status definition, and for research purposes.
Single-point quantitation ofspecific IgG (ME/mL) is distinctive feature of "BioScreen-Rubella-IgG" reagent kit. Each kit contains ready-to-use calibration curve, which is used for calculation of rubella IgG concentration. The formula can also be used for automatical calculation.

Reagent kit is destined for definition of avidity index of specific G class immunoglobulins to rubella virus. The method is based on detection of "early" low avidity IgG. The method is alternative to detection of virus specific M class antibodies and does not require paired sera. Tested serum is analyzed in two plate wells. After incubation one of the wells is additionally processed with special solution, which selectively destroys low avidity antibodies and antigen complexes, but does not influence complexes with high avidity antibodies. The results are rated on the difference of values in two wells, additionally processed and not, with the help of formula and factor in the user manual.
